An Extract from my friend's orkut profile:
Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983. From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed: "Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"? To this Arthur Ashe replied: " The world over -- 50 million children start playing tennis, 5 million learn to play tennis,500,000 learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the grand slam,50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals, when I was holding a cup I never asked GOD 'Why me?'.And today in pain I should not be asking GOD 'Why me?' "Happiness keeps you Sweet,Trials keep you Strong,Sorrow keeps you Human,Failure keeps you humble and Success keeps you glowing, but only Faith & Attitude Keeps you going...
I guess, this reflects the situation that I am currently in. And as the message goes...I only have Faith and Attitude to rely on!
By the way, today is the first anniversary of me landing on to this land of unlimited opportunities...a year ago I was dieing to land my feet here....now..not sure..where I am going...and I don't know where I will be a year after....anyways...Kudos, to me for at least having reached this position...May God Bless Me! And lead me on to the journey of Success!!!! Amen!

Believe in God!
Once a friend of mine asked "If God is great, then what is greater and the greatest!" I happened to reply him saying "Our faith and belief in God are greater and the greatest!" I don't know if I was right or wrong, but I believe that this supreme power called God will always protect us, guide us and will put us on the right path only that we need to believe in Him. And I do!
I believe that whenever I sincerely prayed for something, it happened and believe that whatever is happening and whatever happens in future will happen for my good by the grace of God! Just that I need to believe in that supreme power called God!

Sandrokottos!!
Hi,
Here goes the first line in my blog which I named "Sandrokottos!" I tried to give my blog a name that can reflect the contents in it or gives the inside view of the author or about the ambitious thoughts of the author.
Thought of naming it "The Ambitious", "The Committed" or "The Aquarian", some point of time, thought of calling it "Corporate Classics" (since this blog will surely have the reflections of some corporate culture that I am embedded into). I even published my blog with the name "The Unknown!" but couldn't succeed as there was already one!
At one point of time thought of having the French, the Latin, the German or the Sanskrit equivalent of any word that describes me the most. I never got one. There were some names that popped up like Sandrokottos, Sandrokuptos, Androcottus which are the Greek and the Latin names of Chandragupta Mourya the first genuine emperor of India. I decide to call it "Sandrokottos!"
Friends who know me should have suggested that I go by my long term favorite "Dreams!" But this famous quote from Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" crossed my mind where Juliet says ""What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."!
